The 10 most selected players in Fantasy Premier League have been revealed and the No.1 is a surprise pick.

The 2024/25 Premier League campaign is just a few weeks away, which means FPL users are gearing up for the new season.

And ahead of the new FPL season, their official X account have named the most selected players – revealing a somewhat surprising No.1 pick.

Manchester City and England star Phil Foden, who scored 19 league goals last season, is the 10th most selected player, having been picked by 29.4 per cent of users.

Josko Gvardiol, who costs £6 million, and Eberechi Eze, who costs £7 million, have both been picked by 32.8 per cent of users.

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, who’s one of the most expensive players in FPL at £12.5 million, has been selected by 34.7 per cent of users, having registered an impressive 28 combined goals and assists last season.

Anthony Gordon has been chosen by 35.5 per cent of users and is priced at £7.5 million.

Erling Haaland has been picked by 35.7 per cent of users as FPL managers haven’t been put off by his whopping £15 million price tag.

Arsenal defender William Saliba, who can be snapped up for £6 million on FPL, has been picked by 41 per cent of users.

Cole Palmer enjoyed a stunning debut campaign at Chelsea following his move from Man City and has been selected by 51.5 per cent of users. He’s available for £10.5 million on FPL.

Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins is the second most picked player, with 54.1 per cent of users selecting the star forward.

The most picked FPL player ahead of the new season is Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak, who has been selected by 56 per cent of users.

The Swede, who costs £8.5 million on FPL, scored an impressive 21 league goals in 30 games last season.
