Jude Bellingham rescued England’s Euro 2024 hopes with a last-gasp equaliser.

Roy Keane’s reaction to Jude Bellingham’s stunning equaliser for England against Slovakia has gone viral.

On Sunday evening, the Three Lions returned to Euro 2024 action as they took on Slovakia at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen.

England were second best from minute one to minute 94 but Real Madrid superstar Bellingham stepped up when his country needed him most.

The 21-year-old scored an outrageous overhead kick to make it 1-1 deep into stoppage time.

At the start of extra-time, Three Lions captain Harry Kane headed in from close range to make it 2-1.

Eventually, Gareth Southgate’s men held on for a vital victory which secured their place in the last eight of Euro 2024.

Whilst Neville and Wright celebrated jubilantly, Keane was spotted standing there with his arms folded.

Speaking after the match, Bellingham said: “I know what I can deliver in those moments. Regardless of what people say, I’ve done it this year for Madrid, I’ve done it for England before. Just happy to help the team.

“A good win, through to the next round. Very happy. It’s been tough the last week or so to keep the negative energy out of the camp. I think today they will have been ready for us. We showed the character that England’s missed. It’s very important to get through.”

He added: “I think the performance was really good until their goal and even after. We had massive control of the game, always threatening in the final third, maybe just lacking the final touch to create big chances. It’s going to be important for us going forward, definitely.”
