Roy Keane told Gary Neville exactly what he thought.
Roy Keane lost his cool with Gary Neville during a BBC vs ITV punditry match, reminding fans that he hasn’t lost his famous temper.
During his playing days with Manchester United and the Republic of Ireland, Keane earned a reputation as a tough-tackling, no-nonsense midfielder.
He was never one to give anything less than 100 per cent on the field, and if he felt his teammates weren’t up to standard, he made sure they knew about it.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, he didn’t always get on with his teammates.
Since retiring from playing and dabbling with management, Keane has turned his hand to punditry.
During the season he regularly appears on Sky Sports’ coverage of the Premier League, while during major tournaments he tends to work with ITV Sport.

Keane is part of ITV’s punditry team for Euro 2024, analysing games alongside the likes of Gary Neville, Ian Wright an Jill Scott.
While he does sometimes play up to the character of the grumpy former player when he’s criticising current stars, generally speaking the 52-year-old has mellowed out.
Well, he had until he returned to the pitch with Neville.
As is tradition at every major tournament, on Monday the ITV and BBC pundits went head-to-head in a small-sided match.

ITV fielded a side including Keane, Neville, Scott and presenter Mark Pougatch, while the BBC were represented by the likes of Micah Richards and Rio Ferdinand.
Keane wasn’t happy with one of the goals his side conceded while he was off the pitch, blaming his former United teammate Neville for not blocking the shot.
“Nev! Nev! F****** get tighter!” Keane shouted from the touchline.
“Jesus, if you show him the line [then] you’ve got to stop the shot!”
Somethings just never change, do they?
Keane was certainly happier when he got himself on the scoresheet, coolly tucking home a rebound after Richards had saved Jill Scott’s penalty.
