PSG express interest in move for second Man Utd player after Jadon Sancho talks come to light

Jadon Sancho is being heavily linked with a move to Paris.

Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Jadon Sancho and one of his Manchester United teammates this summer, according to reports in France.

The Ligue 1 champions are actively seeking replacements for Kylian Mbappe and Manuel Ugarte, who looks set to depart the Parc des Princes after agreeing personal terms with United.

It appears Jadon Sancho, 24, is close to agreeing personal terms with PSG after the player received a contract proposal from the Parisien club.

In fact, the former Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund winger is ‘extremely excited’ by the project presented to him by PSG, according to Foot Mercato.

The report goes on to state that it ‘remains to be seen’ whether United will let Sancho leave and at what price, but United are reportedly open to selling Sancho this summer for around £40 million.

In addition to their move for Sancho, French outlet L’Equipe suggest PSG hold a ‘significant’ interest in United captain Bruno Fernandes as both clubs continue to hold talks around moves for Sancho, Manuel Ugarte and Xavi Simons.

Fernandes has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford for some time.

But ahead of the FA Cup final in May, the Portuguese midfielder addressed speculation surrounding his future in an emotional letter to fans.

In the piece posted on The Player’s Tribune‘s official website, Fernandes said: “I love to step out at Old Trafford more than anything in the world. I don’t want to leave. This has always been my ultimate dream.

“I just want my expectations to fit with the expectations of the club. If you go talk to any fan, they will tell you the same thing. We want to compete for the league. We want to be playing Champions League football. We want to be in cup finals. That is the standard. That is what I want. That is what you all deserve.

“I just want to keep fighting. I want to be here. My family wants to be here.”

Bayern Munich have also been linked with a move for Fernandes in recent months, but it appears PSG are ready to swoop.
