Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has a successful side business away from football which has already earned him millions.

Rashford is looking to bounce back from what was a relatively disappointing 2023/24 season in terms of goals scored, although he did end the campaign with another FA Cup winners’ medal.

The 26-year-old missed out on England’s 33-man squad for Euro 2024, with then manager Gareth Southgate stating that, in his view, other players had better seasons than Rashford.

The snub has at least meant that he has been available for United’s entire pre-season schedule, and he has played at least 45 minutes in four of the five friendlies played thus far.

He missed out on the Rangers fixture with a knock, but is now fully fit as Erik ten Hag’s side compare to contest for the Community Shield against Manchester City this weekend.

Away from football, Rashford has gained public acclaim for his charity work, including his successful campaign for children to be provided free school meals by the Conservative government during the Christmas period of 2020.

The forward also set up his own book club to allow underprivileged children to develop their reading skills, and has also learned sign language. He was appointed as an MBE in October 2020.

He also has a number of business interests which have earned him significant amounts of money during his career.

According to the Daily Mirror, Rashford has a property empire which is said to be worth around £15 million. He owns three companies – MUCS Enterprises, MUCS Properties and MUCS Investments.

He isn’t the only current or former Premier League player to have earned huge amounts through property investments.

The Sun claim that Bayern Munich and former Tottenham star Harry Kane has managed to accumulate a property portfolio of over £13 million.

And an 18-year-old Micah Richards started a property company which has netted him millions of pounds.

He told The Rest Is Football podcast: “When things weren’t going right, or even when things were going right, I had a distraction from football 24/7.

“I was building up my property portfolio, I started doing developments around the Leeds and Manchester area. It just gave me a purpose after football.

“I didn’t know I was going to be a pundit after football. The way my career ended, I didn’t want to be anywhere near football.”
