Manchester United could lose another player this summer.
One of Manchester United’s longest-serving players could be set to depart the club and reunite with former teammate David de Gea.
United have been busy during the 2024/25 summer transfer window, signing four players including Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro.
Several players have also left the club this window, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Anthony Martial and Raphael Varane amongst the departures.

And new reports suggest that another player could be set secure a move away from United this summer to join Serie A club Fiorentina.
Reports from Gianluca di Marzio suggest that Fiorentina are considering making a move for centre-back Victor Lindelof to bring him to the Italian club this summer.
Plans for a bid remain at an early stage as Fiorentina consider whether or not the move is financially viable considering both what fee United would want for the defender, and the wages that Lindelof would demand.
It is likely that, if Lindelof were to move to Italy, he would be forced to take a pay cut to allow Fiorentina to be able to afford his services.
Should the defender join Fiorentina, he would be reunited with former United teammate David de Gea, who joined the Italian side as a free agent this summer after departing Old Trafford last year.
Like Lindelof, the Spanish goalkeeper also had to accept a pay cut in order to secure the move, after he reportedly earned a huge £375,000 a week, more than any other player at the club.

For United, securing a move for Lindelof this summer would make perfect sense as it would allow them to make back some of the £30.7m they paid Benfica for him in 2017, instead of allowing him to go for free next year.
Furthermore, having signed centre-backs Yoro and De Ligt this summer, it is likely that Lindelof’s game time at United this season would be significantly reduced,
When all players are fit, the 30-year-old could potentially the fifth choice in the position behind the two new signings, Martinez and Harry Maguire.
