Man Utd fans notice something worrying about Noussair Mazraoui in footage of Bayern Munich player boarding flight

Some Man United fans are a little concerned.

Manchester United fans think they have spotted something worrying about Noussair Mazraoui in footage of the Bayern Munich star boarding a flight to England.

Man United are set to sign Moroccan full-back Mazraoui from Bayern Munich is a deal worth around £17 million.

In a separate transfer, United will shell out £43m for Bayern centre-back Matthijs de Ligt.

Both players arrived in Manchester on Monday morning to undergo medical tests at Carrington before signing their contracts.

Mazraoui will sign a five-year contract with the option of an additional year.

Early on Monday morning, Sky Sports journalist Ben Heckner shared footage of the 26-year-old arriving at an airport before boarding a flight to Manchester.

While United fans were excited about the wheels setting in motion, some did notice something about Mazraoui that concerned them.

Many fans thought that the defender was walking with a bit of a limp, something they didn’t want to see after United were plagued by a defensive injury crisis last season.

“Is my bro limping? Or is it a cool walk/strut?” one concerned fan asked on X, while another commented: “Is he injured. Kinda walking like it.”

A third fan said: “He’s not gonna pass the medical is he?”

Another fan wrote: “It seems like he is limping, I hope that he is ok.”

United are hoping to complete the signings of both Mazraoui and De Ligt so that they can play in their Premier League opener against Fulham at Old Trafford on Friday.

Mazraoui has previously worked with United boss Erik ten Hag having played under the Dutch coach at Ajax between 2019 and 2022.

The full-back was part of the Ajax team that reached the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2018-19, and joined Bayern in the summer of 2022.

Mazraoui, predominantly a right-back who can also play on the left, helped Morocco become the first African side to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup in Qatar in 2022.
