Manchester United fans are all making the same point after the club shared a clip of Matthijs de Ligt’s first training session following his transfer.
De Ligt joined Man United from Bayern Munich on Tuesday in a transfer worth £42.9 million, with Noussair Mazraoui also following him to Old Trafford.
The Dutchman, who played under Erik ten Hag at Ajax, could be in line to make his debut for his new team on Friday when the Red Devils begin their new Premier League season against Fulham.
On Thursday, he took part in his first training session for the club and immediately made a big impression among fans online.

Speaking to Man United’s official website, the 25-year-old said he hopes to make history at the club following his transfer from Bayern and explained why he joined.
“I actually really like the project,” he explained. “It’s always nice to go somewhere and to feel that you’re part of a new project, to feel that you’re part of something new.
“Hopefully me, but also the other players that are coming now this summer, can give a great piece to the next history of Manchester United and to get the club back where it belongs: on top.
“Besides that, it’s an amazing club, one of the biggest clubs in the world, with an amazing history, a lot of amazing players, amazing defenders…
“I’m really excited. I actually waited a long time! The whole vacation I was waiting for the message, that it was a done deal, and now finally it is. So I can’t wait to start.”
