Man United star wants the club to agree to his one final demand before he leaves Old Trafford this summer

Man United are trying to offload the star this summer.

One Manchester United star wants the club to agree to his final demand before he leaves Old Trafford this summer.

Man United are working to improve Erik ten Hag’s squad ahead of the new season, a process that involves both comings and goings.

Striker Joshua Zirkzee and defender Leny Yoro have arrived for a combined fee of just under £90 million, although the latter will miss the next three months with a foot injury.

Mason Greenwood and Willy Kambwala have been sold to raise funds, while the likes of Anthony Martial and Raphael Varane has left after their contracts expired.

Another first-teams star who could be on his way is Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has entered the final 12 months of his contract.

United would prefer to sell the right-back this summer rather than lose him for nothing next year, especially as they are working to sign Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui as his replacement.

West Ham and Inter Milan have been linked with Wan-Bissaka, with the Hammers willing to meet United’s reported £18 million asking price.

However, the Premier League club are unlikely to match the salary expectations of the 26-year-old, who wants a significant upgrade on his £90,000 contract at Old Trafford.

According to The Sun, the Englishman is holding up the deal with West Ham because he effectively wants United to compensate him for joining a club who won’t be able to reach his wage demands.

The report claims that Wan-Bissaka wants United to give him a chunk of his £18m fee, and if that doesn’t happen, then he will stay put and sign a pre-contract agreement with one of West Ham or Inter Milan in January.

The Hammers have had a busy transfer window so far under new manager Julen Lopetegui, spending more than £100m on new talents.
