He claimed United had a better stadium and fans but claimed Barcelona had a better badge and club history before he was asked to compare his two legendary managers.

“Alex Ferguson was a second dad to me,” he told BBC Radio 5 Live’s Euro Leagues show.
“He had that quality of really taking care of the young ones that were coming through.
“At the time they had a lot of young talent and Cristiano Ronaldo had just arrived, too.
“When I was in the dressing room, I felt very integrated and we had a very good team. My experience was incredible.

“I still have a really great relationship with some of my teammates like Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Rooney.”
After retiring from football, Pique founded the Kings League – a new format football league made up from teams whose owners are content creators from major social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Twitch.
Ex-stars such as Sergio Aguero and Iker Casillas have all featured in the league.
