Liverpool fans have voiced their anger at the Premier League over an announcement made days before the start of the new season.
The Reds have enjoyed a successful pre-season so far under new head coach Arne Slot, beating Real Betis, Arsenal and Manchester United on their tour of the United States.
They next face Sevilla at Anfield on Sunday in their final warm-up match before taking on promoted side Ipswich Town in their opening game of the new Premier League season on Saturday.
Liverpool’s televised games in the opening weeks of the campaign have now been announced, with several fixtures moved to accommodate requests from broadcasters.
The visit to last season’s Premier League runners-up Arsenal – which will be shown on Sky Sports – has been put back to Sunday, October 27, with 4.30pm kick-off.
Their home game against Chelsea will now start at 5.30pm on Saturday, October 19, and will also be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have been handed yet another Saturday lunchtime kick-off, with their match against Crystal Palace being brought forward to take place on October 5 at 12.30pm, with TNT Sports showing the game.
Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was critical of the number of lunchtime kick-offs his side were made to play during his time at the club.
The Reds had more 12.30pm games on Saturday afternoon than any other top-flight team during Klopp’s time in the Premier League, and that looks set to continue in the new Slot era.

Liverpool fans were quick to voice their anger at the latest fixture change, with some even bizarrely claiming that there is an “agenda” against the club.
“They’ve started the agenda again,” one angry fan posted on X.
Another sarcastically added: “Wow, who would’ve thought? It’s not like it’s been like this for the past 2 seasons…”
A third wrote: “And it begins. TV loves us so we always get the Saturday 12:30 slot for the ratings.”
While another fan posted: “Ahhhh another early kick off for us hahaha some things never change.”
