Footballer Madelene Wright teases surprise career move after OnlyFans success

Former Charlton and Millwall player Madelene Wright has hinted at her next career move.

Footballer Madelene Wright has teased her next career move after making huge money on OnlyFans.

Wright previously played for the likes of Millwall and Charlton but was sacked by the latter side in 2020.

A club statement confirmed Charlton chiefs had come across “unacceptable” leaked SnapChat videos where she was reportedly seen ‘inhaling from a balloon’ and ‘drinking champagne at the wheel of her Range Rover’.

Wright took a step away from football before returning last year and signing with Leyton Orient, who finished third in the Greater London Women’s Football League.

But she has also developed an extremely large following on social media and subscription site OnlyFans.

The fee for her exclusive content is typically $29.99 per month and Wright has gone on record to say that she made “in the ballpark of half a million pounds” within a year of setting up the page, where she posts bikini, lingerie and football shirt pictures.

At one point it was reported that the full-back was ranked sixth on the list of the most liked members on subscription services such as OnlyFans and FanTime and she is now looking for another hustle.

Writing on X, Wright said: “I wanna start streaming” – hinting at setting up a service with platforms like Twitch and Kick.

On Sunday she followed up with a second post stating she will be getting the ball rolling.

Wright said: “Okay guys, I’m actually doing this. Let me know what games to get.”

Wright is playing in the seventh tier of women’s football but is ambitious and has admitted an interest in getting into property.

“The main thing for me is to get into property, which is something I’ve always wanted to do since I was a footballer. I want to build an empire,” she told The Sun.

“For me, I think it is important for everyone to realise that you can start again. When my scandal happened I thought that was it and I didn’t know how I was going to move past it.

“But, there’s always a new day and always a fresh start. Everyone has a past, you can’t change it.
