Fans can't believe what Kylian Mbappe did at half-time of France vs Spain

Kylian Mbappe got an assist against Spain in the Euro 2024 at the Allianz Arena but his half-time antics caused a stir.

Fans have been left in disbelief by what Kylian Mbappe did at half-time of the Euro 2024 semi final against Spain.

The France skipper, without his protective mask, produced a glorious assist for Randal Kolo Muani to head home Les Bleus ahead.

Spain levelled matters courtesy of 16-year-old sensation Lamine Yamal, who became the youngest ever scorer in the Euros after his outstanding long-range effort.

Dani Olmo then put La Roja in the lead with a magical touch and finish.

Spain went in the lead at half-time and as the teams trudged down the tunnel, there were some surprise scenes.

BBC’s feed appeared to show Mbappe shirtless but with a red Spain shirt in his hand, indicating as though he had performed a half-time shirt swap.

Fans erupted with reaction, with many not happy with the Real Madrid superstar.

One wrote: “Mbappe swapped shirts at half time. Keane would be fuming if this was an ITV game.”

A second said: “Why is Mbappe exchanging shirts with a Spain player at Halftime?!”.

A third added: “Did Mbappe really just swap his shirt at half time while getting beat. If I saw correctly, that’s rough. Don’t agree….”.

Another fumed: “Mbappe swapping shirts at half time give him and the Spanish player lifetime bans now.”

A final user wrote: “Mbappe already swapping shirts. Embarrassing.”

It was not quite clear which Spain player swapped with Mbappe yet it wasn’t the best look for the 25-year-old given his side were trailing at the break

The World Cup winner hasn’t been his usual self at the showpiece Germany after breaking his nose in France’s first game against Austria.

The mask has clearly affected his performance and he has scored just the once in the tournament – a penalty in the final group game against Poland.

Mbappe was substituted before penalties against Portugal, having been replaced by Bradley Barcola.
