Fans all praise one Real Madrid star for being 'above the rest' in UEFA Super Cup, it's not Kylian Mbappe

The Real Madrid star was on another level.

Fans hailed one Real Madrid star as ‘levels above’ everyone else on the pitch in the UEFA Super Cup final, but it wasn’t Kylian Mbappe.

On Wednesday evening Real Madrid beat Atalanta 2-0 in Warsaw, Poland, in the UEFA Super Cup.

Federico Valverde gave Carlo Ancelotti’s side the lead just before the hour mark when he tapped home Vinicius Jr’s low ball across goal.

Nine minuted later, Real Madrid fans were treated to what they were all waiting for: Kylian Mbappe’s first goal for the club.

On his competitive debut for the Spanish giants, the Frenchman steered a shot into the top corner after running onto Jude Bellingham’s lay-off.

Though Bellingham didn’t get on the scoresheet himself, Real Madrid fans were left in awe by his performance.

The 21-year-old wasn’t at his best for England during Euro 2024, but on Wednesday he was absolutely superb.

“Jude Bellingham, by far & undoubtedly, the best player on the pitch,” one fan wrote on X, while another commented: “Jude Bellingham I am on my feet, applauding.”

A third fan said: “People seriously debate how good Bellingham is,” while another argued: “Bellingham is the best player today but nobody wants to say anything because the hate is real.”

One fan made a big claim, writing: “Jude Bellingham, I’m gonna say it. This is one of the best if not the best individual performance I have seen from a midfielder this decade. No word can describe it.”
