Manchester United aren’t the only Premier League club keeping tabs on his situation.
Manchester United have expressed their interest in re-signing a player who left the club last season, according to a report.
Man United are set to be active this summer as they look to make changes to their squad ahead of the new season.
The Old Trafford outfit are seeking to replace Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial following their departures.
Man United are pursuing Everton’s Jarrod Branthwaite and Bayern Munich’s Matthijs de Ligt, who, of course, played under Ten Hag at Ajax.
Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee is also attracting interest from the Red Devils as they seek to add more firepower to their attack.
And, according to Spanish outlet Diario AS, Ten Hag is also eyeing a move for Sergio Reguilon, who spent a portion of last season at Man United.
Reguilon joined Man United from Tottenham on a six-month loan as emergency cover for the injured left-backs Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.
He made 12 appearances in all competitions before returning to his parent club.
After returning to Spurs, the Spanish left-back was shipped out on loan to Brentford, where he played 16 Premier League games.
Reguilon is back at Spurs but a move away from North London appears to be on the cards, with a few other teams keeping tabs on him this summer.

Juventus have identified him as a potential left-back option, too.
Reguilon began his career at Real Madrid before moving to England, where he signed for Spurs in the summer of 2020.
He made 67 appearances in all competitions before returning to Spain in the form of a loan move to Atletico Madrid.
And, as mentioned, he then enjoyed spells at Man United and Brentford, with a permanent move away from Spurs destined to happen this summer.
Gary Neville pulled no punches during the ITV coverage of England's Euro 2024 game.
Gary Neville pulled no punches as he absolutely ripped into VAR's decision to award a penalty to Germany against Denmark.
Germany beat Denmark 2-0 on Saturday to book their place in the quarter-finals of Euro 2024.
Arsenal star Kai Havertz opened the scoring in Dortmund with a second-half penalty, which was awarded in hugely controversial fashion.
Crystal Palace defender Joachim Andersen was adjudged to have handled the ball inside the box following a contentious VAR review.
After the game, Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou slammed VAR for awarding a penalty to the Germans.
And speaking ahead of England's last-16 game against Slovakia on Sunday, Neville echoed the sentiments of Postecoglou.
Neville unleashed a stunning rant about VAR as Ian Wright was forced to step in.
On ITV, he exclaimed: “I was actually offended. On behalf of every defender that basically goes to block a cross. That knows there’s an element of your hand having to be somewhere wide of your body.
"It’s so close. It’s an absolute disgrace and a joke of a decision that a nation can go out of this tournament based upon something like that.
"I feel more offended purely because I played as a right-back and did that regularly. I was never once pulled up for that in my life, where the handball has gone, I have no idea."
Wright chipped in: "Leave it..."

The former Manchester United defender added: “David Luiz was doing that for a few years in the PL and we actually ridiculed him for it because it looked. It’s not right, it’s an absolute joke, it’s a poor reflection on all officiating but all rule makers because I accept there are rules that referees think they have to follow but they have to change that.
"There is no football person who has played the game or watched the game that wants that as a penalty."

After taking the lead from the spot, Germany went onto score a second goal courtesy of Jamal Musiala, who slotted home in the 68th minute.
Germany progressed to the next round at the expense of Denmark, who were left raging over the decision to award the tournament hosts a penalty.
Andersen, who also had a goal ruled out, said: "It was crazy and not a penalty at all. I can't run around with my arms behind my back and play football.
"He's [Raum] half a metre away from me and hits the ball on my hand, so I can't see what I could do to prevent it."
Asked if he had spoken to referee Michael Oliver after the decisions, he said: "You can't speak to the referees nowadays."
Keane made his feelings known ahead of England vs Slovakia.
Roy Keane sent several X-rated text messages to Ian Wright about England ahead of their Euro 2024 last 16 clash against Slovakia.
Gareth Southgate's side have so far flattered to deceive across their three performances in Germany, but still managed to top Group C.
They only scored two goals across their three games, however, with a 0-0 draw against Slovenia causing anger amongst England fans.

The draw does mean that the Three Lions have avoided some of the tournament's big hitters, although their route to the final could still see them having to overcome Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Some pundits have claimed that England players are 'afraid to fail' at Euro 2024 - which prompted Keane to begin an angry rant on WhatsApp.

The Irishman appeared on the latest episode of The Overlap's Stick to Football in Berlin, with co-host Gary Neville reading out the details of Keane's text argument with Wright in their group chat.
Although Neville said the messages 'doesn't have to make the edit', he read out: "You brought the Euros final up, you f***ing egg [from Keane to Wright].
"All bulls**t about being afraid to fail. What bulls**t that is. England are the best at it, so they should be f**ing used to it!
"All ex-England players thinking they know about the game, when they know f**k all, and then too lazy themselves to get their coaching badges, but preach about tactics and systems and playing between the f***ing lines. It turns my f***ing stomach."

Explaining the reason behind his furious messages, Keane fired back: "You said something at the start... go back to what he said, he said something, 'What's that got to do with it at the Euros?' But you brought it up!"
