Maresca was spotted rolling his eyes following a misplaced pass.
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca was spotted ‘rolling his eyes’ after ‘losing patience’ with one of his players during Thursday’s clash against Servette.
The Blues came up against Swiss Pro League side Servette in the first leg of their Europa Conference League play-off clash at Stamford Bridge.
It was a relatively straightforward victory for Enzo Maresca’s side as second-half goals from Christopher Nkunku and Noni Madueke sealed a 2-0 win.
But at times, the Blues were lacklustre in possession, with Mykhailo Mudryk misplacing a number of passes throughout.
In fact, the Ukraine international was a source of frustration for Maresca, who was ‘losing patience’ with Mudryk at the end of the first-half, according to reporter Ryan Taylor.
“He’s been incredibly indecisive and wasted several promising attacks,” said Taylor. “Maresca is trying to coach him through the game but Mudryk looks lost out of possession. Doesn’t know where or when to press.”
Mudryk would later nutmeg his opponent after a great piece of skill, and it brought gasps of admiration from the crowd.
But moments later, the £88.5 million signing from Shakhtar Donetsk passed the ball straight off the pitch.
Maresca proceeded to roll his eyes, according to Taylor, who also said the Italian waved his arms before turning away in disappointment.

The new Chelsea boss has been tipped to get the best out of Mudryk.
Speaking on The Rest is Football podcast, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards agreed that the pacey winger has got plenty of talent following a far-from-spectacular start to life at Stamford Bridge, but “needs a manager to believe in him”.
“There’s something in there,” Shearer said. “It’s been very difficult for him at Chelsea. But I look at him and there’s something there but he needs a lot of work.”
Richards added: “He’s definitely got something. He needs a manager to believe in him and he needs a run of games, even if he has three or four stinkers, that he can just build up that confidence.
“Wingers are like that aren’t they? They need that confidence to really kick on.”
