The Brazilian goalkeeper could be on his way to Saudi Arabia this summer.
Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has reportedly agreed personal terms with one of Saudi Arabia’s biggest clubs after he was offered a spectacular two-year proposal.
The 30-year-old Brazil international, who joined City from Benfica in 2017 for around £35 million, has made over 300 appearances for the reigning Premier League champions.
In that time, he’s lifted six league titles, two FA Cups and the Champions League under Pep Guardiola, who Ederson recently described as football’s greatest ever coach.
“Pep is the same as a GPS,” he explained. “You put in the address, and it gives you the alternatives and the best one for us. Then you just follow, follow and follow.
“Pep is the best ever and I think he is living football 24 hours a day, it is amazing.”
Having spent seven trophy-laden seasons in Manchester, however, it now looks like the Brazilian shot-stopper could leave England this summer.
In fact, Ederson has agreed personal terms with Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr, according to journalist Gianluigi Longari, who says negotiations will now open with Manchester City.
Al Nassr are currently on the hunt for a new goalkeeper after first-choice shot-stopper David Ospina left the Riyadh-based club at the end of his contract.
And unsurprisingly, they are willing to splash the cash to make it happen.
Al Nassr have made a proposal to Ederson worth €60 million [£51 million] over a two-year period, according to Cesar Luis Merlo, which translates to around £490,000 per-week.

Al Nassr were one of the busiest clubs in last summer’s transfer window, signing Otavio, Sadio Mane, Aymeric Laporte, Seko Fofana, Marcelo Brozovic and Alex Telles.
Mane, however, could be on his way out this summer. As per the Daily Mail, Al Nsssr will listen to offers for the former Liverpool and Bayern Munich forward.
In turn, they are eyeing a move for Aston Villa’s Moussa Diaby as a potential replacement. Diaby was linked with a move to Saudi Arabia before joining the Premier League in a deal worth a reported £51.9 million.
