Caitlin Clark received yet another WNBA award on Wednesday, and she once again fell one vote short of a unanimous honor.
The Fever superstar was named first-team All-WNBA on Wednesday, but the honor didn’t come without a bit of a head-scratcher in terms of the way that she made it onto the list.
Clark, 22, received 52 of the possible 67 first-team votes while 14 people used their vote to put Clark second-team All-WNBA.
That meant that one voter snubbed Clark altogether, making it the second time that she was not given a clean sweep for a league honor due to a lone voter leaving her off their ballot.
It was a mystery as to who voted for Reese and that mystery has been renewed over the fact that she was snubbed by a voter once again.
The voting for the WNBA Rookie of the Year is not made public so no one will know who the lone voter was.
It’s unlikely that fans will get to know who left Clark off their All-WNBA ballot.
