Taylor Swift draws attention wherever she goes, which has included three trips to Arrowhead Stadium this season to watch her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, play football.

Swift was in the house again on Oct. 7 for “Monday Night Football” against the New Orleans Saints.

Part of ESPN’s pregame, halftime and postgame “Monday Night Countdown” show is Travis Kelce’s brother Jason Kelce, a former center for the Philadelphia Eagles who retired over the offseason.

Kelce was in the middle of addressing his brother’s sputtering start to the year when the ESPN telecast went to a split screen that showed Swift arriving at the facility.

“I know it’s been a slow start for him,” Jason Kelce began. “I know that the optics have certainly appeared that way.”

It was at that point that he noticed Swift.

“Hey, look at that now,” Kelce continued. “That looks good.”

He then turned his attention back to what he was saying about his brother.

“Trav is always gonna find a way to show up and show out,” he added. “I think it’s only a matter of time before he gets back to the Travis Kelce you’ve seen.”

Jason Kelce’s comments drew attention to the fact that football and fashion have begun to truly overlap across the past year and a half as Swift’s association with the NFL has grown and brought more fans into the proverbial tent.

The fashion-sports crossover has been a phenomenon for some time, with NBA players arguably leading the way. However, Swift is a global megastar with a larger fan base than any professional athlete in the United States, and perhaps the world, save for perhaps soccer stars like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Several outlets published stories about Swift’s outfit on Monday night, including Business Insider, which valued her entire ensemble at more than $51,000.
