Clark is already a leading figure in the women’s sports movement.

Caitlin Clark’s rookie season in the WNBA shattered countless TV viewership and attendance records, resulting in massive strides for the growth of women’s basketball and women’s sports as a whole.

As such, Clark has grown into a leading figure of the women’s sports movement. Her impact and influence extends internationally as she continues to wow fans with her elite talent on the court.

Clark will now put her influence to use in a more tangible way. On Monday, the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year announced that she’ll serve as a panelist for the Women’s Leadership Summit on Tuesday, Nov. 12.

Clark will also participate in The Annika pro-am, an LPGA women’s golf event on Nov. 13.

“I love golf, so the opportunity to play in the pro-am for a tournament with a legend like Annika Sorenstam’s name on it is so exciting,” Clark said in a press release. “Gainbridge is a leader in supporting women’s sports, and that’s clear through their commitment to me, this event, Billie Jean King, and Parity Week. I’m looking forward to seeing all the LPGA players on the driving range, being part of the Women’s Leadership Summit, and, of course, teeing it up in the pro-am with Annika.”

Clark entered the WNBA as the league’s No. 1 overall pick just after the conclusion of her final collegiate season with the Iowa Hawkeyes. She hasn’t had an extended break from basketball since the start of her senior season.

Clark plans to take full advantage of this time away from the court. The Indiana Fever All-Star has no plans to participate in any foreign or domestic basketball leagues this offseason.
