Both Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston of the Indiana Fever will be playing in the WNBA All-Star Game. In fact, they were the two leading vote getters for the contest. Which is a testament to their growing on court chemistry, as well as their popularity. The latter was emphasized by the attention a TikTok Boston posted garnered.

Clark was asked about the growing friendship at the Fever’s most recent practice and had this to say. “She’s such a positive light in our locker room. She’s a great voice. She’s always there whether things are great or things aren’t as great.” Before adding, “I’m really thankful for her.”

Clark also addressed the on court connection her and Boston have established. Caitlin has connected with Aliyah on 53 assists so far this season and AB recently told fans in a Q and A that any type of ball screen action with CC is her favorite play due to the trust she has in the Fever rookie to make the right read.

Aliyah’s averages are up to 13.5 points and 8.4 rebounds on the season, on 50% shooting. While Clark is generating more points than any player in the league with totals of 16.1 points, 6 rebounds, and 7.4 assists.

Obviously Clark brings an overwhelming amount of attention to everything Indiana does, including being the focus of the opposing team’s defense. But for all the nitpicking that brings, Clark and Boston are thriving in the pick and roll, with the Fever rolling as a result.
