Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and pop star Taylor Swift have been together for more than a year, and seemingly every aspect of their high-profile relationship ends up making front-page news.

There’s a high demand to know what’s going on in the personal life of the seven-time All-Pro and 14-time Grammy winner, which could turn into quite a lucrative venture for the couple.

According to a report from The U.S. Sun that cites a well-placed insider, two unidentified writers have pitched a Broadway play proposal with a $7.5 million production budget to the couple. If Kelce and Swift greenlight the project, the show could also tour worldwide.

“The couple have yet to answer, but the writing team is hopeful the show could start next summer,” the Sun reported.

“The 75-minute show, claims the source, is about the duo’s relationship, how they met and their life as one of the most famous power couples in the world.”

Kelce specifically made an impression on the writers, who reportedly love the 35-year-old’s charisma and his backstory as a two-star college recruit who worked his way to Hall of Fame-worthy NFL career.

“They see him as the guy next door,” the Sun’s source continued. “Not a fashion model or a beautiful actor, but a hard-working athlete who has fought to the top.”

It’s no surprise Kelce impressed the playwrights. He recently stepped out into the acting field with his hosting duties on “Are You Smarter than a Celebrity?” and a small role in FX’s “Grotesquerie.” His “New Heights” podcast, which he cohosts with his brother, Jason, is among the top podcasts in the U.S.

If the play gets the go-ahead from Kelce and Swift, the tentative plan is to start stateside.

“If it works in New York, the plan is to take the show to London, Paris, Tokyo and beyond,” the source stated.
