Depending on who you ask, you’ll hear a lot of different words to describe the Kansas City Chiefs’ 11-1 start to the 2024 NFL season. There’s one involving Taylor Swift that doesn’t sit right with Travis Kelce.

After surviving a close call against the Las Vegas Raiders on Black Friday, the AFC leaders have won an NFL record 14 consecutive one-score games. Nine of their 11 wins this season have been by one score.

Kansas City’s tight victories have been aided by notable moments like the Raiders’ controversial botched snap, blocking a last-second field goal to beat the Denver Broncos and benefitting from the overtime coin toss to slam the door on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

On Wednesday’s “New Heights” podcast, Jason Kelce teased his brother about the source of the Chiefs’ late-game magic.

“I kind of feel like you guys are the ‘Angels in the Outfield’ this year,” Jason said while they discussed the Chiefs-Raiders game.

“There’s some unknown, like, T—,” he started to say, before Travis stopped him and they both burst into laughter. The Chiefs’ tight end stole the reference off his big brother’s tongue.

“Here you go with this (expletive) Tayvoodoo (expletive) again,” Swift’s boyfriend remarked in the NSFW clip.

“Tayvoodoo” is a term coined by the “Swiftie” fanbase on social media to describe Swift’s influence on the outcome of the football games she attends.

Kansas City is 6-0 this season with Swift in attendance. Since 2023, the music star has been to 19 Chiefs games. Kelce’s team has a 16-3 record in those games, including a 25-22 overtime win over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.

One Swiftie posted on X after seeing the New Heights clip: “like it was obvious to me that tayvoodoo & tayblessings were known about by many people, but i’m taking this as an actual confirmation that tay is seeing all our jokes omg.”

Another fan joked that Swift’s dad must have taught Kelce the term when their families spent Thanksgiving together. However the Kelce brothers learned about it, it’s clear from the clip that Travis is tired of hearing about it.

Swift’s next chance to watch Kelce play and work her “Tayvoodoo” will be on “Sunday Night Football” against the Los Angeles Chargers at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
