There are obviously massive benefits to celebrity life in a fish bowl, among those being – in the case of pop icon Taylor Swift – the ability to amass a net worth of $1.6 billion.

The downside to celebrity life in a fish bowl, as Swift and boyfriend Travis Kelce have learned all too pointedly? Irresponsible speculation about the private lives of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the world-renowned singer.

Much has been made of Swift recently electing not to attend either of the team’s last two road trips. But after the Monday night win this week at Arrowhead Stadium, Kelce and Swift were together, and they celebrated by going out to a local club.

And after the couple posed for a couple of lovely photos during their “personal time”? That’s when things went a bit nuts for “Swifties” and for Chiefs fans alike.

Kelce swift

One image shows the singer posing in front of Kelce as they embrace, hands wrapped together at her mid-section. But something about the hand placement of Kelce that drew some people offsides.

Travis’ hand is near her tummy. And many fans are now saying the same thing about what it all means – irresponsibly – leading to wild guesses that Swift is pregnant with Kelce’s child.

One social media commenter, as noted by the U.S. Sun, framed perfectly the foolishness here.

“Ok why but why is this giving pregnancy announcement vibes? Help. No I’m not saying that she is! And it’s non of our Business anyway,” wrote one fan.

Translation? Some want it both ways. “It’s none of our business, but what’s going on!?”

There is no official word on whether Swift is truly pregnant, but we have an educated guess. And all we have to do is look at Taylor’s other hand, the one not being held by Kelce. In that hand she is holding a drink – a highly unlikely action for a woman who is pregnant.

Swift and Kelce are having a ball together. During this bye week (see our Chiefs Rooting Guide here), they reportedly zipped to the East Coast so Kelce could film a scene in the Adam Sandler sequel “Happy Gilmore 2,” and while in the New York area, they double-dated with actors Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. And discussions about that stuff? Fair game. Part of the fish bowl. Discussions about pregnancy, though? A line of illogic, at the very least, is being crossed here.
