The singer’s mother burst into tears and recalled: “I couldn’t believe that after he grabbed her butt, she turned around and thanked him for coming to that event. A source of E! News said Taylor Swift attended the trial and sat next to her mother, in a relaxed mood and occasionally smiling at the jury.

Taylor Swift asked for $1 (about 22,000 VND) in compensation – a symbolic amount – because she just wanted to be respected and shed light on David Mueller’s actions. She also believes that her actions help other abused people dare to stand up and fight.

David Mueller still insists that he did not grope Taylor Swift. The announcer told Taylor Swift’s lawyer Douglas Baldridge: “I know my hand was behind her. And at that moment I didn’t know where my hand was touching. That’s why I think it was just an accident.”
