Former NHL goaltender and Hockey Hall of Fame inductee Roberto Luongo was great between the pipes, and now he’s also extraordinary at social media.

Known for his wit off the ice, Luongo didn’t disappoint when he provided an update related to his attendance at Taylor Swift’s latest concert at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

The goalie, who is currently a special advisor for the Florida Panthers, took to X to share his experience and joke about the steep price of his upgraded seats.

This, for context, was not Luongo’s first time at a concert staged by Swift. He made sure to update his followers on his upgraded seats for the latest event, even though sitting there truly came at a price in his eyes.

“Upgraded seats but will have to work rest of my life to pay it off,” Luongo hilariously wrote on X.

Luongo posted the message along with a picture showing his location stage view at Hard Rock Stadium.

Swift’s “Eras Tour” has been packing stadiums across the world, with some of the cheapest resale tickets in Miami going for over $1,000 but dropping of late, according to the New York Post.

Back in July, he took his family to see Swift perform in Milan, posting a series of viral tweets that poked fun at their far-off seats.

“This is Taylor, you can barely see her here but don’t worry we couldn’t either,” he posted back then. Once again, the former goalie showed his placement in the stands, which was truly separated from the main stage and the artist.

Luongo already made headlines during the offseason, although in that case, it was for something related to the job he’s done as a professional playing hockey.

Back in September, he showed up to play goalie for a beer league team in need. Donning his Panthers gear, he helped the underdog team pull off a 4-2 victory against the five-time defending champions of the competition.

During his NHL career, Luongo played in 1,044 regular-season games winning 489 of them, posting 77 shutouts, and getting the gold medal in two Olympic events with Team Canada.

Luongo never won the Stanley Cup as a player, but he hoisted the trophy as an executive for the Panthers in 2024.
