Taylor Swift had one last piece of history tucked away for the final concert of the “Eras Tour.”

The tour came to a conclusion on Sunday with a show in Vancouver, bringing an end to a 21-month journey around the globe for the pop star, who is the girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

While Kelce and the Chiefs were wrapping up their ninth straight division title on Sunday night with a 19-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, Swift was making history north of the border.

Swift announced to the crowd in Vancouver that the “Eras Tour” had topped 10 million attendees.

“We have toured the entire world with this tour. We’ve had so many adventures. It’s been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my entire life,” Swift said. “We’ve got to perform for over 10 million people, and tonight we get to play one last show for you here.”

Swift’s company told the New York Times that 10,168,008 people attended the “Eras Tour, purchasing $2,077,618,725 in tickets — and that doesn’t take into account the secondary ticket market.

Swift fell short of the most-attended concert tour of all time. Coldplay’s ongoing “Music of the Spheres World Tour” has had 10.3 million people attend since it began in the spring of 2022. However, she surpassed the British band for most attendees per show. Swift’s tour ended with 149 shows that averaged slightly more than 68,200 people per concert.

Swift toppled many other records along the way. At a show in Toronto in November, the singer announced her tour was the first to play six sold-out shows at the Rogers Centre, capping a long list of venue and country attendance records set during the tour.

With the tour concluded, Swift will be able to attend Kelce’s games as the Chiefs try to lock up the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
