Jason Kelce has become one of the more beloved figures in the sporting world over the last few years, from his time as a player with the Philadelphia Eagles to his now post-career stardom as both an NFL analyst and podcast co-host with his brother, Travis Kelce.

When you’re famous, though, you are going to get hecklers. Kelce saw an intense confrontation with a heckler on Saturday at the Penn State vs. Ohio State game, where a fan got into his face and started talking inappropriately about his brother, and the relationship with Taylor Swift.

Kelce grabbed the heckler’s phone and threw it to the ground.

While this type of behavior may be polarizing when involving some people, Kelce has a high enough approval rating that fans praised him online when the video started to circulate.

Here’s a look at how many people reacted on X:

“Hell yes @JasonKelce,” Will Compton said.

“If you (expletive) around with Jason Kelce, you’re gonna find out,” Barstool Sports wrote.

“All the internet tough guys all of a sudden get skittish in real life lol,” Barstool’s Tommy Beer added.

Credit to Kelce, who stood up for his brother and potential future Sister-in-Law, handled the situation, and walked away without hurting anyone or getting himself into trouble.

No credit to the person who thought that it was a good idea to go up to a very large human and try to get into his face with an antagonizing motive, looking for internet fame.

Most of the time, you aren’t going to win that battle.
