Kansas City Ciefs tight end Travis Kelce went to greater lengths to showcase his skills for his acting debut in Ryan Murphy’s “Grotesquerie.”

As Gen Zs put it, the NFL star “ate and left no crumbs,” channeling a standout character from the TV series.

The 20-episode FX horror drama revolves around a series of heinous crimes being investigated by Detective Lois Tryon, played by Niecy Nash.

Kelce’s character is Ed Laclan, an orderly who works at the facility where he meets the detective.

As FX dropped the show’s first half, viewers were drawn to the NFL star’s character growth. Fans online are raving about the Chiefs star’s versatility as a pro athlete and actor at the same time.

However, as “Grotesquerie” showcased the twists and turns with its latest episode, viewers had various thoughts about Kelce’s character, especially regarding his transformation.

In an online post, Kelce brought his inner country boy attitude by debuting a mullet haircut.

In the comments section, fans expressed their surprise and delight at his willingness and commitment to bringing justice to his role.

“He made an excellent transformation. Even his mannerisms range from hot charmer to sad, sad mullet boy. This show has me hooked. Ryan Murphy likes to mess with people’s heads,” one fan mentioned.

Meanwhile, some of the comments compared Kelce to country singer Billy Ray Cyru for his hair transformation.

“You’re telling me that’s not Billy Ray Cyrus???” one user commented, while another joined in and jokingly said, “What I want vs. what I got, lmao.”

Apart from this, viewers also shared that they are looking forward to seeing the brutal reaction of Jason Kelce, Travis Kelce’s brother, to his new look.

“Travis is doing so good! Last night was wild. Lots of Travis in Episode 7. Can’t wait to hear Jason’s feedback,” a fan said.
