The Kansas City Chiefs are no longer undefeated after losing to the Buffalo Bills, 30-21, at Highmark Stadium on Sunday.
The Chiefs’ defense had very few answers for quarterback Josh Allen, especially in the fourth quarter when he led two touchdown drives. Patrick Mahomes also struggled with turnovers, as he threw interceptions on Kansas City’s first and last drives in the loss.

Following the loss, coach Andy Reid spoke about the game and what the team will take with them going forward.
“My hat goes off to Sean [McDermott] and the Bills, they did a nice job,” Reid said. “They made plays when they needed to, did a nice job with that. It was a great game to learn from for some of our young guys. Two good teams play each other, the margin between winning and losing is small, man. And that starts with me.
“We can all learn from it and take something out of this and make us better down the road.”
“I probably could call some more runs, when it was all said and done,” Reid continued. “When we had opportunities, we did a pretty nice job with it, with the exception of the short-yardage.”
The Chiefs finished the game with just 78 rushing yards on 17 attempts for an average of 4.6 yards-per-carry. Running back Kareem Hunt led all players with 60 rushing yards on 14 attempts. Kansas City is expected to get starter Isiah Pacheco back next week after spending nine weeks on injured reserve.
