There has been no shortage of rave reviews from nearly anyone and everyone who’s had the privilege of attending one of Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” concerts. More often than not, fans leave completely satisfied — if not overwhelmed — by Swift’s ability to connect with her audience and put on a truly unforgettable show every single time.

As it turns out, the same is the case for British actor Hugh Grant, who himself attended the “Eras Tour” stop in London earlier this year. In a recent interview with NME, the award-winning actor recalled his incredible experience during the concert.

While Grant enjoyed Swift’s on-stage performance, the 64-year-old also admitted that his experience was extra memorable thanks to the time he spent with the singer’s boyfriend Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs.

“It’s my daughter who’s mad about Taylor Swift,” Grant started. “… I put out some feelers and to my astonishment they said ‘come along’ and I thoroughly enjoyed it. She went mad, my daughter.

“… I hung out with Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who’s an American football player. We did Tequila shots at the back of this kind of hut in the middle of Wembley – and there were a bunch of, I think they were, rappers. I dunno what they were, anyway we all got absolutely smashed on Tequila.”

It sounds like Grant had a truly awesome time during the concert and he has to thank Kelce and his “rapper” friends for that.

For their part, Kelce and Swift have been dating for more than a year now. Kelce has attended a handful of his girlfriend’s “Eras Tour” concerts across the globe, while Swift has shown his support for her beau by showing up to his NFL games whenever her demanding schedule permits.
