The Kansas City Chiefs have a low-key approach to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at home games.

This is the singer’s second season as a Chiefs fan, and her relationship with the player continues for another year.

Tonight is Swift’s 14th game, many of which are home games.

Even though she’s been at Arrowhead a lot, the team has never played any of her hit songs.

That’s by design.

At last year’s World Games, Chiefs president Mark Donovan said the team was careful not to put too much emphasis on its star offensive lineman.

“It’s another conversation we’ve had with Travis, we’ve tried our best to respect the relationship,” Donovan told Front Office Sports (first reported by Sports Illustrated).

“Last season at Arrowhead Stadium, we didn’t play any Taylor Swift songs at our games. And that’s a sign of respect. We’re not trying to capitalize on it. We’re trying to celebrate it, but not in a way that we overdo it or show her every touchdown or anything like that. She’s never on our big board.”

The extra attention didn’t seem to faze Travis Kelce, with Taylor Swift in the stands. He finished the regular season with 93 receptions for 984 yards and five touchdowns. During the Chiefs’ playoff run, he caught 32 passes for 355 yards and three scores, according to his stats on ESPN.

Taylor Swift Expected to Attend Multiple Games in 2024

Taylor Swift attended 13 Chiefs games last season to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce and his team.

Swift will attend Travis Kelce’s first game of the 2024 NFL season, which is Thursday night when the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Ravens.

She’s on a two-month vacation after her European tour ended in August, meaning she could attend many of Kelce’s early-season games.

The tour will resume in North America in October.
