The top two teams in the AFC West will face off on “Sunday Night Football” as the AFC-leading Kansas City Chiefs host the Los Angeles Chargers at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs, who have already secured a spot in the playoffs, are atop their division with an 11-1 record, holding a three-game lead over the Chargers, who are 8-4.

With another home assignment, Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, is expected to show up to support the Chiefs. She hasn’t missed a home game this season.

Showing support has been a two-way street for the celebrity couple. Swift revealed during the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in September that Kelce accompanied her during the filming of the music video for her hit song, “Fortnight,” which also featured Post Malone.

The music video’s cinematographer shared that the Chiefs tight end was extremely supportive of the 34-year-old Swift, which made her feel even more empowered.

“I think she felt very supportive by his presence, and probably also proud to show him what she does and the kind of leader she is,” said Rodrigo Prieto in a report from People’s Rachel DeSantis, which resurfaced on X. “She makes her own kind of touchdowns.”

Swift herself directed the music video for “Fortnight.” It won Video of the Year at the VMAs, with the pop sensation thanking Kelce during her acceptance speech for his “happiness and fun and magic” during the shoot.

The four-minute ballad about a forbidden love affair spent two weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100.

As Prieto pointed out, Kelce’s full support for Swift has helped her navigate the intricacies of superstardom, along with the emotional toll that comes with it. He has allowed her to individually pursue her artistic sensibilities while also growing together as a couple.

Since they started dating in 2023, Kelce and Swift have been nothing but each other’s biggest fans.

It won’t be a surprise if “Fortnight” is in many people’s year-end Spotify Wrapped.
