In a memorable appearance on the “New Heights” podcast hosted by Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce, actress Niecy Nash-Betts shared a heartwarming story about the mother of the two NFL stars, Donna Kelce.

Nash-Betts, who co-stars with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in the show “Grotesquerie,” reflected on a touching moment she shared with Mama Kelce at the premiere after-party of their TV series.

Nash-Betts revealed how Donna Kelce’s pride for her son was evident as she mingled with fans in the theater. “She was cute as a button. She had a little outfit on,” Nash-Betts fondly recalled.

“Watching her watch the audience cheering for you was amazing. She couldn’t have been prouder,” Nash-Betts said.

As a mother herself, Nash-Betts noted that it’s one thing to clap for your kids because you should, but it’s another to see genuine pride like what Donna Kelce has for her son.

Travis Kelce was clearly moved as he responded, “Making my mama proud is one of my favorite things to do.”

The story didn’t end there, as Nash-Betts recounted more moments with Donna Kelce. She reminisced about attending a Chiefs game with Donna and enjoying the game-day atmosphere.

Nash-Betts said they took pictures together, collected podcast swag and enjoyed fantastic seats. Laughing, she added that she would gladly do it all over again, saying it was a “really great time.”
