Vin Diesel’s Touching Tribute To Paul Walker At The People’s Choice Awards Will Bring A Tear To Your Eye

Last night’s People’s Choice Awards was a fruitful occasion for those behind The Fast and the Furious films as the latest instalment in the series, last year’s Furious 7, bagged two awards, Favourite Action Movie and Favourite Movie.
The franchise’s kingpin Vin Diesel was there to pick up both gongs, with the acceptance speech for the latter having particular significance as he dedicated the award to the memory of late cast member Paul Walker.
“I say I’m not going to get emotional about winning these awards, and I was cool when I was sitting in my seat, and then they handed me two awards,” he began. “You all thought that this was your favourite film… and I start to think of Paul… It was a labor of love. My only message to you is you’d be amazed what you can do with love. You’d be amazed at how powerful a force that is. When we didn’t want to come back to filming when the tragedy was too heavy, it was the love of everyone combined that saw us through to the end.”
He then broke into a rendition of Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s ‘See You Again’ (which, on a side note, has an astronomical 1.3 billion views on YouTube, making it the third-most viewed clip ever), which was recorded for Furious 7 as a tribute to Walker. It’s a tearjerking moment, which you can see in full below.
I’m not crying, you’re crying.
