Mzansi female rapper Nadia Nakai has been a concern of the country as she has recently experienced one of the most tragic losses. Over the two years of being alleged and later confirmed that she was in a relationship with male rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, Nadia has had to bid farewell to her lovers, as it was reported earlier in the week:

It is a sad day in South Africa following the events of Friday, 10 February 2023. This is as the country has lost rapper and Hip-Hop legend, Kiernan “AKA” Forbes at the age of 35 years old.

Reports of the rapper’s passing started just before midnight when it was reported at the time:

Ahead of his appearance at Yugo Bar in Durban, AKA had shared his upcoming arrival.

Upon rising in Durban, it is believed that was when the tragedy occurred as he was gunned down after being shot down.

Inside Nadia and AKA’s final public interview

As today marks Valentine’s Day, the day ahead of the month of love, it seems that AKA and Nadia had conducted a special interview in celebration of the special day.

This is as the two featured as one of the Mzansi celebrity couples for the most recent episode of the SABC 3’s The Insider.

During their interview, which saw them cooking Mac-n-Cheese meets lasagna, that couple let us in on when they first met only to date almost or over a decade later, Nadia shares being ready to have kids but explains that she meant her upcoming makeup range.

Moreover, the couple shares the significance of their tattoos. Tattoos, which at first were reported as:

Things are getting more serious between lovebirds Nadia Nakai and AKA following the pair getting similar tattoos. Picture of the couple making rounds on social media while getting inked has gotten tweeps talking ‘negatively’ already.

An account belonging to Thembisile_Q shared the pictures of both AKA and Nadia Nakai getting tattooed at the parlor. However, that has gotten tweeps inserting negative opinions and comments.

This was after AKA had reiterated just how much Nadia’s love has changed him for the better. As reported at the time:

…AKA gushed over his current woman, Nadia Nakai and said she helped build him and he is very grateful for her.

“But God is graceful because now I’ve got an amazing woman in my life as well – who picked me up, helped rebuild me,” he continued.

In an interview with The Sowetan, Nadia spoke about how her relationship with AKA, and she said he is a good father and someone she would like to have more kids with in the future.

“He was respectful every time I’d meet him. We never had personal issues and obviously – out of the respect for my label boss, I would refrain from socializing too much with him.

There wasn’t a specific time that we told ourselves we were an official couple because we were just really good friends. We’d speak for long hours over the phone and share so much in common,” she said. “We didn’t plan to become a couple, it just happened… I’ve witnessed how great he is as a father, of course, I’d love to have his babies one day.”
