John Wick Director Was Given A Helicopter By The King Of Jordan To Film A Shot Based On A Classic 60s Movie
John Wick director Chad Stahelski, who has worked with Keanu Reeves extensively, is a student of the game and has studied movies throughout his life. While speaking to John Horowitz in a recent interview, Chad Stahelski revealed that the King of Jordan lent him a helicopter so that he could shoot a scene based on Lawrence of Arabia.
”I had pretty big ba**s to rip off the shot from Lawrence of Arabia. That is an actual sunrise in the Jordanian desert, that’s not digital. The King of Jordan lent us a helicopter to go out in the middle of the desert to get this sunrise shot.”
Lawrence of Arabia is hailed as one of the best movies of all time and is truly a cinematic masterpiece for many people for good reason. Therefore, it’s no surprise that Chad Stahelski decided to take inspiration from it in such a way.

Chad Stahelski Doesn’t Desire A Happy Ending For John Wick

Chad Stahelski
Well before the conclusion of John Wick: Chapter 4 revealed the supposed grave of John Wick, director Chad Stahelski already had a specific ending in mind. In an interview with IndieWire, the director assured the audience that Wick’s fate was sealed, making it clear Wick will never get a happy ending.
“John may survive all this shit but at the end of it, there’s no happy ending. He’s got nowhere to go. Honestly, I challenge you right now, here’s a question for you: How do you f*cking want me to end it? Do you think he’s going to ride off into the f*cking sunset?
He’s killed 300 f*cking people and he’s just going to [walk away], everything’s okay? He’s just going to fall in love with a love interest?”
While the fourth film in the franchise features John Wick’s grave, fans speculate that he’s likely okay and just taking a break. John Wick 5 is confirmed to be in development, but specific details are yet to be revealed
