Taylor Swift appeared unimpressed after becoming the butt of one of Golden Globes host Jo Koy’s jokes on Sunday night.
The singer, 34, who is nominated in the new Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category for her concert film The Eras tour movie, was sipping champagne when Koy, 52, made a joke about her romance with Travis Kelce, 34.
‘Welcome back,’ he said. We came on after a football doubleheader, as you know.
‘The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL is that there are fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift on the Golden Globes.’
The camera then cut to a shot of Swift, who was sipping her drink and not smiling.

Taylor Swift looked distinctly unimpressed after she became the butt of one of Golden Globes’ host Jo Koy’s gags on Sunday night

The singer, 34, was sipping champagne when Koy, 52, made a joke about her romance with Travis Kelce, 34, whose concert film The Eras tour movie is nominated in the new Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category.
‘I swear, there’s more to see here,’ he continued. Please accept my apologies.’
Fans reacted angrily to the remark, writing, ‘Cause of death for Jo Koy: That look Taylor Swift gave him as she sipped her drink.’
‘Does the fool who’s hosting the Golden Globes and just made a Taylor Swift joke realize millions of viewers had to Google who the hell is Jo Koy!???’ wrote another.
Others wrote, ‘Oh Joe… don’t come for Ms. Swift! *sips*’
‘Agree. Uncomfortable giggling. Using Taylor Swift in a joke that hasn’t been funny in months was a cheap shot.
‘That joke made no sense and was not funny. Why are you bringing up the NFL to discuss Taylor Swift?’
‘Can Taylor not take a joke?’ said another supporter of Koy. He wasn’t even disparaging her; it was a dig at the NFL for the way they cover her. It was amusing and innocent.
The 81st Golden Globe Awards will recognize the best in film and television in 2023, with the glittering ceremony taking place at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
