The model was accused of shading Gomez when she reshared an IG post that included Rema’s song “Calm Down,” specifically the version that doesn’t feature Selena.

The internet continues to dissect the drama between Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez.
After last week’s eyebrow fiasco involving the two of them, people believe the model has thrown shade at the singer/actress. Hailey recently reshared an Instagram Stories post by her beauty company, Rhode Skin, and set it to the song “Calm Down” by Rema.
The hit’s remix features Gomez, and Hailey—as seen below—used the version that doesn’t include her.
The timing of the post seems questionable, but it might be innocent after all. Per BuzzFeed, “the original story that was posted by @styleandthebeach also included that track from Rema, so the song may not have even been Hailey’s idea.”
To recap, Kylie Jenner shared an IG Stories photo of her and Hailey’s eyebrows last week after Gomez confessed on TikTok that she “accidentally laminated my eyebrows too much.” Jenner and Hailey were then accused of being shady.

And while Gomez clarified that she didn’t have a problem with Jenner, the “Look at Her Now” singer added fuel to the fire by commenting on a resurfaced video of Hailey on TikTok. In the clip, Hailey made a gagging notion after Taylor Swift’s name was mentioned. In the comments section, the Only Murders in the Building actress defended her friend, writing, “So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game.”
Back in October, the white flag was seemingly waved between Gomez and Hailey after they posed for a sweet photo together. For years, the two have been pitted against each other by overzealous fans for their connection to Justin Bieber. Gomez dated Justin for eight years on and off, before officially calling it quits in 2018. That same year, he tied the knot with Hailey.
