Rashee Rice in uniform and his mom in Chiefs jersey

The mother of Kansas City Chiefs star wide receiver Rashee Rice is not only being accused of stealing a package from her neighbor, but she was also caught in the act of doing it.

The Kansas City Chiefs are more concerned with the status of their second-year wideout, but the conversation changed this week with the news that his mom may have some sticky fingers.

Marsha Kearney was accused of stealing a package off of her neighbor’s doorstep shortly after Rice injured his knee, according to TMZ Sports.

The neighbor alleges the incident was caught on the Ring camera, and that footage was released on Wednesday.

When NFL fans saw the video, they immediately began to state the same thing about the family as a whole.

Rashee Rice has 288 receiving yards and 24 receptions through three games. There is still no word on how long he could potentially be out.

Rashee Rice Has More Important Things To Think About Than His Mother Possibly Stealing Packages

Rashee Rice’s mother is being accused of stealing a package from a neighbor’s front door, and the event was also caught on video.

The homeowner’s doorbell camera caught a woman in a Rashee Rice jersey, customized to spell ‘Momma Rice’ across the back, walking past their front door and glancing down to see a package. Later on, she would come back to get it.

In the meantime, Rashee Rice is hoping to have some good news on his knee injury.

Despite a win over the Los Angeles Chargers that led the Kansas City Chiefs to a 4-0 record, most discussion around the team was the health of the second-year wide receiver.

After reports on Sunday night indicated that the team feared Rice suffered a torn ACL, Adam Schefter of ESPN provided the first bit of optimism regarding Rice’s status.

“Here’s what we know right now,” Schefter said. “We do know that Rashee Rice is going to miss an extended period of time. We do not yet know that that ACL is torn. He’s continuing to go through testing, and there has not yet been confirmation that it is torn, as the Chiefs feared in the postgame locker room after they beat the Chargers. Again, it’s going to be a bad knee injury, but they’re hoping that it’s not as bad as they feared. He’s still going through the testing.”

He can deal with his mother behind closed doors, but he has bigger fish to fry, as the team needs him badly if they want to win yet another Super Bowl.

At this point, anything less than a season-ending injury would be a positive outcome for Rice and the Chiefs.
