Hailey Bieber blamed bloating for recent “disheartening” pregnancy rumors.
The model clapped back at speculation in a GQ Hype interview published Tuesday, noting that fans have believed she is expecting “multiple times before.”
Although comments about her stomach this summer were nothing new, the 26-year-old still finds “something … disheartening about it.”
The Rhodes creator explained, “I can’t be bloated one time and not be pregnant? It would be a lie if I was like, ‘Oh, yeah, I don’t give a s–t.’”
When she and husband Justin Bieber do have a baby on the way, Hailey insisted the public “will be the last to know” about it.

“It’s just, honestly, at the end of the day, so hilarious how much people f–king care,” she said.
“Let me do what I want to do with my body and you guys can do what you want to do with your body,” the makeup mogul continued. “Let’s just let it be that.”
Hailey and Justin, who have been married since 2018, plan to make their parenting experience a “private, intimate thing” between them.

“[Motherhood] is something that I look forward to,” the skincare guru told the magazine. “It’s something that’s going to come when it comes.”
Although Hailey initially wanted to raise kids out of the spotlight, she acknowledged that attention is “totally unavoidable” with her Grammy-winning partner.
“[I said that] before I was married,” she clarified. “[I] didn’t know who I was going to be married to at the time, I’m sure. Maybe I liked the idea at 18 of not raising kids around certain things, but my life is so different now.”

Hailey told the Sunday Times in May that she is “scared” and “cries” about what haters will have to say about her and Justin’s future children.
While the “Baby” singer, 29, has been vocal about his desire for kids, he told Ellen DeGeneres in 2020 that Hailey wasn’t “ready” for that next step.
“It’s her body and whatever she wants to do. … I’m going to have as many as Hailey is willing to push out,” the performer said at the time, saying his wife had things she wanted to “accomplish as a woman” first.
