She rekindled the love with her cheating husband, Offset, earlier this year after announcing their split in December 2018.

And Cardi B has now revealed why she chose to give her marriage another go and how her decision saw her receive much hate.

The 27-year-old explained to Vogue’s January 2020 issue that she not only prayed but had priests come over to their home to help learn how to forgive.

‘When me and my husband got into our issues—you know, he cheated and everything—and I decided to stay with him and work together with him, a lot of people were so mad at me; a lot of women felt disappointed in me,’ she began.

‘But it’s real-life s**t. If you love somebody and you stop being with them, and you’re depressed and social media is telling you not to talk to that person because he cheated, you’re not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation.’

She further explained that she had a hard time with her decision to rekindle their relationship as many of her social media followers felt ‘let down.’

She continued: ‘My thing is, everybody on social media acts like relationships is perfect, and that’s crazy to me.’

‘Everybody has issues. I believe in forgiveness. I prayed on it. Me and my husband, we prayed on it. We had priests come to us. And we just came to an understanding like, bro, it’s really us against the world.’

Cardi couldn’t help but gush over her husband and his loyalty following his stray from their monogamous marriage.

‘He has my back for everything, I have his back for everything, so when you cheat, you’re betraying the person that has your back the most. Why would you do that? We have come to a clear understanding.’

She confirmed: ‘For me, monogamy is the only way. I’ll beat your a** if you cheat on me.’

And despite their past, it seems as though things are going great for the pair, with Cardi dishing that they were thinking of starting their own children’s line.

The Money rapper graced the January 2020 US cover with her 16-month daughter, Kulture Kiari.

She stunned in a $3900 Michael Kors Collection red polka dot dress and teamed the look with $600 suede Jimmy Choo pumps.

Cardi’s frock featured a v-neck design that drew attention to her surgically enhanced cleavage and was cinched in at the waist.

Kulture dances with Cardi B to ‘fav song’ after it’s nominated

Her hair was slicked back into a natural wet look and her makeup featured a bold cat-eye and contoured cheekbones.

The 27-year-old’s look with completed with a sweep of blush and a nude pout.

Cardi laid back on a patch of grass while cradling her daughter Kulture, as captured by famed photographer, Annie Leibovitz.

The 16-month-old was dressed in a red pair of shorts to match her mama and smiled for the camera.

Another photo saw the mother-daughter duo pose in a bed overlooking the city skyline.

Cardi stunned in a strapless Oscar de la Renta number while Kulture matched in a cute dress from the Brock Collection x Maisonette collaboration.

Cardi has spent the past day performing in Ghana. She flaunted her sensational physique on social media in a bikini.

‘I was in Ghana for less then 24 hours .Went thru a lil dilemma but I still had fun,’ she shared.

The pair began dating in early 2017 and announced their engagement in October that year.

The new mom announced in December 2018 on social media she had split from her husband following his extramarital affairs he had had.

However, Offset made various public attempts to win back his wife during the early weeks of 2019, and February saw them attend the Grammy awards together.

They were both on stage to accept Cardi’s award for Best Rap Album.
