Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz are clearly playing on rumours that the married couple are in a three-way relationship with Selena Gomez

Brooklyn Beckham shared a happy anniversary post with the lucky ladies in his life, wife Nicola Peltz and their extremely close pal Selena Gomez.

Uploading the loved-up snap on Monday, the wannabe chef confused fans as he wrote “our anniversary” on his Instagram, despite his and Nicola’s nuptials taking place in April, not December. Followers can only assume the 24-year-old was talking about a different anniversary as he posed alongside Nicola and friend Selena.

Standing proudly in a colourful hallway, Brooklyn placed his hands on Nicola’s waist as the happy couple posed for the photograph. Selena stood next to the couple with what looked to be her hand around Brooklyn’s back in the bizarre image.

“Why is Selena just randomly in the first pic on an anniversary post I’m dying,” wrote one follower as the upload hit more than 200,000 likes in the first few hours. Asking all the important questions, another person probed: “Are y’all a throuple?”

Someone else said: “I love that your anniversary includes Selena.” While a fourth penned: “Trying to read the comments to see if anyone else has spotted it but where is Selena’s hand???” A fifth wrote: “Selena is me third wheeling.”

Selena was once left shocked after rumours started circulating about her dating Brooklyn. In a resurfaced clip from 2015, the 30-year-old singer was mortified to find out Brooklyn, 23, had an alleged crush on her and had apparently split from his then-girlfriend Chloe Grace Moretz because of it.

She quickly dismissed the speculation and said Brooklyn was too young for her, but it seems things have changed over the years as she recently joked the pair are in a ‘throuple’ with Brooklyn’s and Nicola. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen when she was 23, Selena was asked about the supposed love triangle between herself, Brooklyn and Chloe.

She quickly shut down Andy’s question, saying: “How old is he? Isn’t he sixteen? Now I know I look sixteen, but I’m 23, like no, I just did a movie with Chloe and she’s outstanding. I don’t know what happened with them, but they’re like five. Why are we judging their relationship?” Selena has enjoyed an increasingly close relationship with Brooklyn and Nicola, 28, in recent months and the married couple are even said to have moved in with their pal.

The trio were first spotted hanging out in November last year and even rang in the New Year together as they enjoyed a luxury yacht trip in Mexico. Only Murders in the Building star Selena took to Instagram after the holiday to share a series of snaps of the celebrations and joked she is now Nicola and Brooklyn’s plus one.
