Britney Spears and her husband, Sam Asghari, have separated, Page Six can confirm.
Sources told TMZ Wednesday that Asghari confronted Spears last week over rumors that she had cheated on him.
While it’s unclear whether there is any validity to the claims, it allegedly resulted in a massive argument between the two.
“It’s only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce,” one of the insiders told TMZ.
The 29-year-old, who wed the “Toxic” singer in June 2022, has reportedly already moved out of their shared home.
Reps for Spears, 41, did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
As we previously reported, Asghari won’t get much — if anything — from the songstress if their marriage ends in divorce.

“Britney and Sam signed a prenup in her favor,” a source told Page Six at the time of their nuptials. “Any money she made before the wedding is protected.”
However, one insider told TMZ that their marriage will likely be settled with Spears signing a check.
The news comes just a few months after the pair celebrated their first wedding anniversary amid rumors that there was trouble in paradise.

In May, TMZ released a documentary about Spears’ life, in which they alleged that the pair’s marriage was already in “deep trouble.”
The outlet further claimed the “Sometimes” singer has gotten physical with her husband during screaming matches and that he no longer spends much time at their house.
However, Asghari was quick to slam the “disgusting” doc — and those involved in its creation — for trying to use Spears “as a money-making machine.”

“I found it absolutely disgusting for the people who were in her life when she didn’t have a voice, they went and told her story like it was theirs,” Asghari began in a video posted to his Instagram Story.
Asghari specifically took aim at the outlet for putting Britney “under the microscope” when she is finally free from her conservatorship.
Just days later, Spears also tried to shut down the speculation by posting an Instagram video of the pair kissing.

In the clip, Asghari and Spears can be seen making out while standing underneath a large display of flowers.
“I feel so blessed to be with such an incredible husband who inspires me everyday !!” she captioned the video.
Spears and Asghari got engaged in September 2021 after nearly five years of dating.

Less than one year later, the pair said “I do” during a star-studded ceremony at her mansion in Thousand Oaks, Calif. The couple were accompanied by A-list celebs like Madonna, Selena Gomez, Paris Hilton and Drew Barrymore, who partied by their side the entire night.
Prior to their romance, the Grammy winner was briefly married to Jason Alexander in 2004. Following their split, she and Kevin Federline tied the knot and were married for three years before calling it quits.
She and Federline share two sons.
