The franchise is a massive hit that also has short films, TV shows, toys, video games, live shows, and theme park attractions. It consists of 12 films that feature several Hollywood stars. One more actor would have been on the list of those actors if Vin Diesel hadn’t said no to him.

After knowing Vin Diesel’s thoughts on the idea of Jean-Claude Van Damme in the Fast & Furious franchise, fans sparked some reactions. Some believe that The Bouncer star was perfect to enter the franchise.
One X user (@mtplug_grinder) said: “All jokes aside he would have made a bad ass villain.” Another X user (@CallaWolf87) believed that Diesel was afraid that another actor (like the famous Van Damme) would steal his spotlight:
“Was it because he was afraid to have another better actor steal the scenes away? I mean JCVD isn’t the greatest actors, but at least he doesn’t have a permanent scowl and say how he’s “doing it for family” every time he swings at someone.”

These reactions suggest that Jean-Claude Van Damme’s performance in the Fast & Furious franchise would have definitely made a great impact. The actor’s martial arts skills and action movie experience might have added a new dimension to it if he had been cast.
