When Armie Hammer Called Blake Lively “An Insufferable B**ch”!

Back in 2007, the world was introduced to Gossip Girl. In Season 2, Armie Hammer made his appearance as Gabriel Edwards for a few episodes and portrayed the love interest of Lively’s character.

His span on the show was short-lived and there’s a very particular reason why. An Instagram account, by the name of DeuxMoi, who is known for sharing celebrity secrets shared on their social media account (via Elle) that Armie Hammer was the problem.

As per the social media outlet, Armie Hammer allegedly called Blake Lively “an insufferable b**ch” during a dinner scene and was immediately fired from the show. On the other hand, Hammer has a different story to tell as the actor alleged that it was Blake Lively who was the problem on the show!

Was Blake Lively The Problem?

Although Hammer is already known for several controversies, the actor reportedly defended his actions in an interview when he appeared on Watch What Happens Live. During the show, Armie Hammer alleged that it was actually Blake Lively who was the problem! Hammer was asked about who the biggest diva on the set was according to him and his vague answer created controversies.

“Let me just say that was a tough show to film and I didn’t end up actually filming all of the episodes I was supposed to because it was [so tough]. It was also like ‘Get him [Hammer] out of here.”

Although he didn’t take any names, comedian Chelsea Handler who was sitting alongside the actor, pointed out that Hammer was starring opposite Blake Lively as they all shared a laugh and stated “Sounds like [Lively] was the problem”. Although we might not know who was at fault, there is no doubt that Armie Hammer had one more controversy to his name.

Gossip Girl received a rating of 7.5/10 on IMDB and 84% on Rotten Tomatoes. Although the actor wasn’t a very big part of the show, his on-screen chemistry with Blake Lively is available to stream on Max in the U.S.
