Chariah Gordon, girlfriend and now fiancée of Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr., recently shared her thoughts on the viral photo that featured herself, Hardman, pop star Taylor Swift and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

The photo, taken in October 2023, captured a sweet moment between the four in a luxury suite at a Chiefs game. It quickly gained attention across social media, sparking widespread discussion.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Gordon reflected on her surprise at the photo’s popularity.

“I just thought that we looked cute and I posted it,” she said.

Gordon added, “I didn’t know that it was going to be that big. I had no expectations.”

The couples recreated the photo on September 5, with Swift kissing Kelce while Gordon and Hardman stood by, capturing fans’ attention once again.

Gordon admitted that when the photo gained widespread attention, she “freaked out a little bit.”

“It kind of made me feel like I did something wrong,” she confessed. “But I know I didn’t because it’s just a nice photo.”

While Gordon enjoys her friendship with Swift, she prefers to keep some details private. However, she did share a memorable moment from last season, when the two women were seen celebrating together at the Super Bowl after Hardman scored the game-winning touchdown.

“It’s just good times with good people,” Gordon said.
