FRIENDS star Courteney Cox and her Derry boyfriend Johnny McDaid have celebrated a major milestone together.

The Hollywood actress and Snow Patrol star have been together since 2013, after meeting through singer Ed Sheeran.

Yesterday, Courteney shared a sweet tribute to Johnny on Instagram for their 10th anniversary.

The 59-year-old posted a video with Ed’s song Shape Of You playing in the background.

Courteney shared a photo of her and the English singer first and then of Ed with Johnny and wrote: “10 years ago this guy introduced me to this guy”

The video was filled with a slideshow of Courteney and Johnny’s loved up snaps.

The Scream star also added a clip of Ed singing the chorus to his song with the words changed around dedicated to the happy couple.

The Thinking Out Loud star sat beside Johnny and someone else singing: “I know your heart is falling too, Johnny is in love with your body.

“And last night you were in his room and now his bedsheets smell like you every day discovering something new, Johnny’s beard is the shape of you.”

Courteney’s friends and fans all flocked to the comment section to gush over the heart-melting gesture.

Actress Arielle Vandenberg commented: “ED! ALSO THIS IS SOOOO CUTE!”

Dancer Kelli Erdmann wrote: “Ahhh!!! So cute!!!! Happy anniversary!”

The couple got engaged in 2013 but called off the wedding in 2015, before rekindling their relationship the following year.

The loved-up pair were forced to spend lockdown apart, however, as Johnny is based in London, while Courtney lives in the US.

While they were forced to stay home, Johnny co-wrote Bad Habits with best pal Ed, while Courtney spent time working on her horror comedy series Shining Vale.

Speaking about their time apart, Johnny told MailOnline: “We were apart as many people were apart from their families and loved ones, but we were able to stay as connected as we could and both of us dived into being creative.

‘She made her show and a new product line, and I made Bad Habits with Ed [Sheeran], so we were able to stay really productive even if it was tough being apart – and it was tough, but we don’t have the toughest lives in the world – we’re so lucky.”
