Kamis Billington, who weighs around 15st, says she was ‘humiliated’ at the concert

AN Ed Sheeran teenage superfan was left sobbing at his concert after she was allegedly refused a T-shirt by a merchandise vendor who told her: “Nothing is going to fit you”.

Kamis Billington, who weighs around 15st, claims she was mocked by an assistant at London’s O2 arena when she tried to buy a keepsake.

The 18-year-old from Brockley, south east London, said: “I’m absolutely disgusted.

“Before I’d even opened my mouth to buy tour merchandise the women states nothings going to fit you and calls for the next customer.

“Never been so humiliated, angry and embarrassed in my life.”

A spokesman for the O2 said Kamis’ size was unavailable, but offered her a different style of T-shirt for free which she turned down.

Kamis has denied O2’s claim, adding: “They can’t just brush off ignorance and humiliation like that.

“I do not think fat-shaming is acceptable.

“No matter what size you are or how you look, everyone has the right to be who they want to be.

“I am not a confident person, but I am happy with how I look. Now someone has put negative thoughts in my head.”

Superstar Ed Sheeran performed three shows at The O2 Arena, London, this week while on his nationwide tour.

He will return on June 22 to celebrate the venue’s 10th birthday week.

A spokesman for The O2 said: “The sold out Ed Sheeran shows at The O2 have been very busy with the merchandise selling incredibly well and resulting in some of the items going out of stock.

“The fan in question asked what sizes were left and at that particular time her size was unavailable.

“At the end of the show, she returned to the stand and we offered her a different style of T-shirt in her size or any other piece of merchandise complimentary which she turned down, but we did give her free tour programmes and let her know we would get in touch if more stock became available.”
