Years after its release, fans seem to can’t get enough of one of the biggest Afrobeats projects of all time, ‘Made In Lagos’ by Wizkid, as it returns to the Billboard Charts.

As fans anticipate the release of a new song or album from the Grammy Award-winning singer and performer Wizkid, his album, Made In Lagos, has re-entered the Billboard World Albums chart at number 15, extending his record as the African artist with the longest charting album on the chart.

Made In Lagos tied the record for the longest-charting African album on the Billboard World Albums chart in February 2022, a record held by the Cape Verdean singer Cesaria Evora, with her Grammy award-winning album, Cesária had spent a total of 66 weeks on the charts peaking at the number 2 position, which made her the only African to spend that long on the charts; but Wiz has now spent over 130 weeks on the chart with his latest re-entry.
